Being in St.John Ambulance Malaysia Division SMK Sultan Ismail, every ahli is still not recognised at national level and in fact you are only St.John Ambulance Malaysia SMK Sultan Ismail member, not St.John Ambulance Malaysia member. Therefore, there is a test to see whether you are fit enough to be a St.John Ambulance member who can carry out duty well in saving people. This test is called Ujian Asas Pertolongan Cemas St. John Ambulance Malaysia. Every ahli should take this test to give himself/herself an identity in St.John Ambulance Malaysia. Imagine one day you want to save an old woman but u dunno how... Thats the reason we pass you the basic knowledge in saving people, but, ur life saving skills need proffesional acknowledgement, and this is the purpose of we are havin this ASAS test. We are trying to produce more and more SKILLED first aiders. Many people die everyday, and many of them were dead because there was no immediate medical attention or no life-saving procedure was conducted on him/her. But you can make the difference, you can save their lives...Get yourself an uniform, make yourself look smart and proud.
